School dilemma, to go or not to go?

No one can give you this advice. It sounds like you have some school avoidance going on and you are using illnesses to not go to school. It is extremely rare for a young person to be ill enough to miss that many days of school. After a surgery, yes, but other illnesses, no. People go to school with upset stomachs, colds, sinus infections, sore throats every day so that they don't miss school and fall behind as you have. You need to keep taking the ibuprofen and follow the instructions given to you on your ER discharge papers. If this were a ruptured ovarian cyst, this takes time for this to gradually reabsorb and the pain to go away. A follow-up visit is always recommended after an ER visit so your own physician knows what is going on, should any problems occur that you would need additional testing or care.
