Contradicting advice/newborn questions?
There is so much different advice on raising babies/kids.What to do/not to do.Like about how to prevent sids. Some people say make sure a baby is on its back(which you would think if a baby is on its back it may choke on spit up).Others say a baby can be on its side. Then a lot of people say don't give a baby a blanket but what if they are really cold? Also they now say pacifiers are helpful on preventing sids but what if your baby won't take one or only takes one for a few minutes? How can you really make sure a baby isn't to hot or cold?I worry all the time and want to do the very best that I can.I have asked doctors/nurses some of these questions and even they have varying opinions. What is the best schedule for a month old baby?Once again differing opinions. Some people say don't hold a baby to much or it will get spoiled, others say you can when its a newborn, and so on.Should you hold a baby most of the day/night?How do you get things around the house done? What if your baby cries all the time when you try to get some things done(don't hold it)?I know you can between naps but what about if the baby barely ever sleeps and when it does you need to catch up on sleep yourself? What activities should you be doing with your baby/teaching them at a month old? That is only the begining.Sorry for all the questions. Thanks for your answers.
