Where is this going and what should i do ??

there is this guy at school and he is in my cl and we are always together like at recess and in cl i know we both like each other but i could never tell him i like him even thought i think he knows but i am to chicken to tell him and my friends say he feels the same. He has also told my friends that he doesn't want to go out with anyone cause his last break up hurt him a lot. know i have never gone out with anyone so i could never ask him out. everyone try's to get us to go out but we both go all awkward and don't say anything. he has told me he loves me but haven't said it to him. HELP ME
