Are there any aspiring fiber artists/ art quilters out there?

I am just beginning my journey into fiber arts, I'm 27 and find that there is a lack of fiber artists of my generation in my area, just traiditonal quilt guilds. Just wanted to hear if there were anymore of you out there! :)
