Case of Marbury vs. Madison?

I haven't been in school last week and came back today. I was handed this essay to write which is due and everyone else had more than a week to write it. I just need some ideas. In the case of marbury vs. madison do you think Chief justice Marshall make a mistake in this caase that would lead to too much judicial power in the future or did he set a good example to be followed by other justices when he declared a US law unconstitutional?
