Facts for children earning chores or allowance?

i need a fact (or a study/statistic/anything that a scientist has ever said) that children who dont do chores usually become spoiled(most but not all, that is why i need a statistic). is there anything like that that i can find online? (im doing an essay and im supposed to give reasons supported by facts).
