How will the following earmarks create jobs and secure our childrens' future?

I'm still trying to figure out why MY TAX DOLLARES re being spent to for sidewalks in other states. I live in San Diego CA. Shouldn't state and local taxes be spent on stuff like that? So why are my federal taxes being spent on local projects in other states?
