My Grandad....pleasee help!?

well, if he is strong, the chances may be good, i would ume. pnuemonia may be hard on the heart and may not. kidney stone surgery shouldn't be relevant. many of us men have stomach or inguinal hernia, we live life through it unless the intestines fall too much into the which is then a threat, again, they will look at the benefit outwaying the risk for surgeries and move accordingly. there is no point to fix a hernia and cause death and liability.. pneumonia is serious in geriatric patients, especially with co-morbidity as he owns. my father had pneumonia which became HOSPITAL pneumonia (much more serious) and made it through at 74 yrs because he was a trooper. it also went from light to deadly in 8 hours with a 5 percent chance to live but he made it!! the antibiotics held the disease state in limbo for 4 days, not erradicating the pneumonia or even moving it where it started to show signs of clearing but rather, held the disease from progressing or getting worse, it maintained the current state for the 4 days, no digression or progression, then suddenly it broke and the med kicked in and knocked off the disease rapidly.. although promise cannot be made or false hope, he can ward it off, he can overcome it, he can come back to himself, if his mind helps him alongside the treatments. if he grows tired and does not want to continue living, it could consume him quickly.. don't freak, don't give up but don't invest fully either.. seeing you care for him as you display here, it gives him strength to kick this thing.. best wishes!
